Our multimedia Afrikaner Blood wins the 2012 Multimedia Contest of World Press Photo!
The multimedia 'Afrikaner Blood' made together with multimedia journalist Elles van Gelder, won first place at the Picture of the Year Award in the issue Reporting Multimedia section.
Ilvy Njiokiktjien wins second prize in the Contemporary Issues category at World Press Photo. The winning image is of a sergeant at the South African extreme right Kommandokorps camp who shows the boys how to use a gun.
